Terms of use

Clear ground rules.

These terms govern the SprichMitte app, its subscriptions, and the companion website.

Effective 17 July 2026 Applies across iOS, Android, and web

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, using SprichMitte, or purchasing Premium, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. SprichMitte is operated by Ehsan K. Harchegani in Germany.

SprichMitte is a general-audience language-learning service and is not specifically directed to children under 16. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms in your country, a parent or guardian must review and accept them for you.

2. The service

SprichMitte provides German conversation lessons, listening and recall exercises, speaking practice, progress tracking, reminders, and optional Premium access. Results depend on regular practice and individual circumstances; we do not guarantee a particular language level, examination result, or professional outcome.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your sign-in method, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. One person may not misuse multiple accounts to bypass access or purchase controls.

4. Premium subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The store displays the applicable price, billing period, and taxes before you confirm a purchase. No free trial is currently offered. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store account before renewal. Store rules and mandatory consumer law govern billing, cancellation, refunds, and withdrawal rights.

Deleting SprichMitte or deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings. Premium features may change as the catalog develops, but we will not intentionally remove paid access already required by applicable law or store rules.

5. Personal-use license and content

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use SprichMitte for private language learning while these terms apply. SprichMitte’s lessons, recordings, interface, branding, and software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not redistribute, sell, scrape, copy at scale, reverse engineer, or use the service to build a competing dataset or product except where the law expressly permits it.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • interfere with the service, security controls, or other users;
  • upload malicious, unlawful, infringing, or deliberately misleading material;
  • probe or exploit vulnerabilities or access data you are not authorised to access;
  • use automated systems in a way that burdens or extracts substantial parts of the service;
  • use contact or support facilities for spam, harassment, or abusive submissions.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep SprichMitte reliable, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, store services, network conditions, device capabilities, or third-party providers. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. Where a material change affects paid rights, we will follow applicable law and store requirements.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time and can delete your account from the app. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address fraud, or respond to a serious breach of these terms. Account deletion and retention are described in our Privacy Policy. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately.

9. Responsibility and liability

SprichMitte is a learning aid, not a certified translation, legal, medical, migration, or professional-advice service. Verify language when accuracy is important. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those mandatory rights, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Governing law and changes

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence. Courts are determined by mandatory law. We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change; material changes will receive reasonable notice where required.

11. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. You can still contact us directly so we can try to resolve a concern.

12. Contact
